The historian José Mattoso was recently honoured at a scientific event in Mértola regarding heritage library collections, in which special emphasis was given to the cataloguing of his personal library, donated to Mértola’s Archaeological Site, which will soon be available online. This work makes the historian "very satisfied" and convinced of having left his legacy in the right place.
