In this work, in two volumes, the authors share the results of a broad research carried out by international multidisciplinary teams, which produced and applied common methodologies based on extensive field work in the production of a rigorous mapping. The first volume presents the underlying theoretical background, of historical and geographic nature, on the subject of wool in its multiple aspects, as well as the potential for tourism-related activities in this field of study. The second volume, accompanied by an interactive DVD, shares the results of the inventory of heritage assets.
