Description: Fragment of a comb with very fine teeth. It was made from a massive bone plate carved to the shape of a T, with pointy teeth carved at the end of each side.

Corinthianesque capital

Name: Corinthianesque capital. Medium grain white marble. The top edge is damaged

Description: The cup is ornamented with two interpolated crowns of acanthus leaves. The start of the stems is still visible, but the capital is damaged in the section of the volutes.

The 1st Forum of Young Researchers in Islamic contexts will take place on 17th and 18th January 2013 in Lisbon, FCSH-UNL.

This is a meeting / interdisciplinary forum where young researchers are challenged to share their work and their reflections.
