Mértola’s Archaeological Site will be present at the Seminar on Cultural Tourism and Archaeology, held 15 June at the Auditorium of the Casa da Luz Museum, in the city of Funchal.
The exhibition "The signs of everyday life: gestures, symbols and marks in the Al-Andalus" is being held at the new Islamic Centre of the Tavira Municipal Museum since the 18th of May, International Museum Day. This temporary exhibition of the Mértola’s Archaeological Field aims to unravel the information contained in everyday objects of the Islamic civilisation, revealing the experiences of the people who used them.
